Leaf Burning allowed during October/November and April/May

The burning of "dry" leaves, brush, paper or paper goods is ONLY allowed in the Village of Durand during the months of Oct. and Nov. and again in April and May. Burning is allowed only during daylight hours. No grass clippings or anything that gives off offensive odor can be burned!

Village residents may also bring leaves, grass, small branches and brush to the village's sewer lagoon during normal business hours throughout the yEAR. Please place your brush as far to the rear of the cement gathering pit as possible.

Paper and paper goods may be burned year round, but only in a burn barrel of solid construction.

2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 7:30 p.m.
Occassional Special Meetings may be held.
(48 hour advanced notice is needed for "Special Board Meetings")
